After having successfully concluded a demonstrationon the main performance features of the newly developed FOODSCAN device at the Six-monthly Meeting hosted by Partner Uniscan Instruments Ltd. (on 11th of March 2013 in Buxton, UK), the RTD Partners have produced and delivered in July 2013 ten (10) FOODSCAN devices together with the biorecognition elements and electrode strips to all SME Partners. Testing of FOODSCAN devices for pesticide residue detection sensitivity is currently ongoingly performed by SME Partners on cereal, cork, wine, legume and fruit samples.
We will keep both the end-users and interested industrial stakeholders, but also the public opinion informed about the outcomes of these trials. For more informations, please visit our website at www.foodscan.net
