APCOA PARKING, Europe's market leader in parking management, will present its new product & marketing strategy at the Cannes MIPIM property fair from 12 to 15 March, 2013.

Stuttgart / Cannes, March 11 2013 – APCOA PARKING, Europe’s market leader in parking management, will present its new product & marketing strategy at the Cannes MIPIM property fair from 12 to 15 March, 2013. On this occasion the Group and all national subsidiaries will present themselves under the common brand name APCOA PARKING Group for the first time ever; including the Scandinavian subsidiaries, which for historical reasons have been operating under “EuroPark” so far.

The rebranding that has taken place forms part of the modernization and strategic re-alignment of the company. Over the last two years the group with subsidiaries in 12 European countries has been reorganized, making way for more efficiency and stronger customer focus. Thus successful products and services for the first time could be offered to private, institutional and public landlords across Europe.

In addition to its ample portfolio of parking management services, by now the company increasingly focuses on offering park and guard services, too. For decades this service has been very successfully provided in northern Europe. In Germany this service of monitoring compliance with parking rules and regulations at mostly ungated private parking facilities, is being offered by subsidiary “Park&Control”.

APCOA also has new offers for the traffic management sector. These include its proprietary taxi management system, employed to organize taxi services and other traffic flows at airports, fairgrounds and train stations.

Ralf Bender, Group CEO of APCOA PARKING: “I expect MIPIM 2013 to confirm a trend we have increasingly seen for the last three years. Landlords, real estate companies, cities and municipalities increasingly come to acknowledge the advantages it brings, if their parking assets are being professionally managed by a company with fourty years of experience. Last year we saw our growth being accelerated by standardized processes and a well-structured business model. On this basis we are currently expanding our leadership in the European parking market. Our business partners appreciated that we are the parking specialists with the specific know-how to increase their revenue, and make parking easy and convenient for their customers.”

The aggregate 2012 turnover of parking management services valued well above 1 billion Euro across APCOA’s European locations, an increase of approximately 5.8 %. Allowing for one-off effects of contractual adoptions and changes, APCOA PARKING Group turnover grew by 4,9%. The number of locations managed by APCOA in Europe grew by 727, from 6.786 to 7.513.
